From Collectors of Don Antiquities to Urban (Non-)Archeology is a name of the new exhibition of the Museum of the History of Rostov-on-Don, which was prepared in collaboration with the Southern Federal University

The public library will be one of the central venues of the festival in Rostov-on-Don

On November 10, an exhibition of works by contemporary Russian artists from different Russian regions will open at the Sholokhov Center of the Sholokhov State Museum Reserve (Bolshaya Sadovaya Ul., 125/69) as part of the charitable cultural project, Art as the Language of the World

In Rostov-on-Don, a competition, commissioned by the Department of Economy of Rostov-on-Don, was completed; its winners will have an opportunity to be trained as professional tour guides.

The project is organized for schoolchildren from rural settlements of Aksay and Oktyabrsky districts to introduce pupils of Grades 5 to 8 to the history of Novocherkassk, as well as to the role of the Don Cossacks in development of culture and education of their small homeland, the Rostov region. In total, seven excursions will be held as part of the project, 280 schoolchildren will participate in them. 

The first tourist festival, On the Road to the South, will be held in the Rostov region from October 12 through 14. The event will take place at the Don Plaza Congress Hotel. Representatives of the Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol, the Donetsk People's Republic, the Lugansk People's Republic, Zaporozhye and Volgograd regions will take part in it.

The event will be held in Cherevichkin Children's Park. You will find flowers, seeds, seedlings of ornamental and fruit trees, conifers, as well as garden tools and related products at the exhibition

From October 5 to 8, an informational tour for stakeholders of the tourism industry from other Russian regions took place in the main city of the Don region.
