The Days of Don Wines Campaign, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Rostov Region in cooperation with Roskachestvo (the Russian National Quality Control System), was launched for the first time in Rostov-on-Don. The campaign will last until June 15, 2024. The aim of the campaign is to promote wines produced from grapes grown in the Rostov region in local retail chains and public catering establishments.

The study held in 2023 found that the quality of red wines increased dramatically, and the quality of white, pink, and sparkling wines improved. The Don region enjoys great potential for growing its production of high-quality wines made from indigenous grape varieties with high added value.
