The first tourist festival, On the Road to the South, will be held in the Rostov region from October 12 through 14. The event will take place at the Don Plaza Congress Hotel. Representatives of the Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol, the Donetsk People's Republic, the Lugansk People's Republic, Zaporozhye and Volgograd regions will take part in it.

The main idea of the festival is to encourage development of auto tourism through mutually beneficial cooperation with the stakeholders of the tourism business of the Don region and neighboring regions, promotion and positioning of local attractions, cultural sites and natural resources, which is in line with the objectives of the national project – Tourism and Hospitality Industry.
