Aleksey Logvinenko: “Over the past three years, more than thirty sports grounds were built in Rostov”:
The number of Rostovites going in for sports is growing every year. Thus, one of the priorities set by the City Administration is to establish and update the sports infrastructure. At the same time, it is very important to bring sports as close to the residents as possible.
Every year sports grounds are set up near residential facilities. Over the past three years, 107 million rubles were spent to repair 31 sports grounds near houses. Nine of them have been repaired this year.
The Head of the Administration of Rostov visited the sports facilities that had been renovated this year. He talked to residents, sports enthusiasts, who thanked for the work done.
It is planned to deliver a number of large-scale projects in the left-bank area of the city: construction of an ice rink, a sports and recreation center with a swimming pool and a tennis academy. The delivery of these facilities is scheduled for 2024 and 2025.
