Eco Park Along Temernik River under Way:

To clean the Temernik River and to turn its coastal area into a comfortable recreation zone is a task for the near future. The "first mile" of the ecological park is being improved along the river bank starting from the zoo. The area 2 km long has already been cleared up. The contractor laid the main cable for the lighting system in the section from the bridge near Vavilov Street to the zoo. Also, piles are arranged for viewing platforms and bicycle paths. According to the national project Ecology, the recovery of the Temernik River is being completed in parallel. For seven and a half kilometers, the river bed was cleared and slopes were formed. Less than a kilometer is left to clear. Things are brought to order in the vicinity of the zoo. After all, this zone was neglected for more than three decades.
