Legends of the Mius Front. Sambek Heights
A visit to the large-scale memorial complex and introduction to military stories related to it. You will go along the Mius Front line, which witnessed heavy fighting during the Great Patriotic War. You will visit a state-of-the-art museum complex Sambek Heights, Matveyev Kurgan and Stepanov khutor, you will hear stories about feats of Soviet warriors, examine monuments dedicated to them and discover details of the most important battles.
You will pay a visit to the Sambek Heights Museum Complex, which was opened not long ago and is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. You will have a walk along the Alley of Memory, where there are mass graves of defenders of the Don land, have a close look at the monument to the Soviet winners and appreciate an exhibition of military equipment in the open air.
