Building of Nakhichevan City Theater:

On December 16, 1899, the theater was opened. The theater was designed to seat 650-700 people, the three-circle auditorium was semi-circular and retracted, which brought viewers closer to the stage. Over the years, the building housed various theaters – the Theater of Young Workers, the Theater of Young Spectators, the Rostov Comedy Theater, the Lenin Komsomol Youth Drama Theater, the Lenin Komsomol Theater of Young Spectators of Rostov. Presently, the Rostov Academic Youth Theater is a theater with a modern view on the world, which is keen on experimenting, but holds true to the best theatrical traditions.
