Each city hosting the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia prepares a special menu for visitors.
The world championship organizers think today about what the FIFA World Cup visitors will eat in the Russian cities. The Gastronomic Map of Russia project unites all the 11 cities to host matches of the world football tournament. Obviously, every region wants to give tourists memorable experiences in everything, and the remarkable national cuisine is not the last thing on the list.
So, at the recent Gastronomic Map of Russia show, the Rostov region decided not only to present the local cuisine, but also get creative. Arkady Dvorkovich, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, and Oleg Safonov, Head of the Federal Tourism Agency, who attended the event, praised the chicken pies that chefs from the Rostov region styled as footballs. They were not only tasty, but also unconventional.
