On August 21, the Don Cossack Guards Cultural and Exposition Center of the Don State Technical University hosted a presentation of foreign language audio guides.

“During the 2018 World Football Cup, we used audio guides for foreign visitors and saw their positive response. And we invited tour operators and interpreters to get expert review of our new product from professionals,” says Irina Romanova, Head of the Center.

The participants examined English, French and Spanish versions of the excursion lecture on the Don military elite – Cossack Guards regiments. They highly appreciated the contents and the translation quality. To give the story voices, the team from the Don State Technical University, including the staff of the Don Cossack Guards Center and the university’s information service, the faculty of the World Languages and Cultures Department, worked several months.

The Don Cossack Guards Center expresses gratitude to all the participants of the meeting, which was followed with a cup of tea and a friendly talk.

The Center is open to cooperation with all those who welcome foreign and Russian visitors. “We invite tourism professionals to get to know our capabilities, to work jointly further to enhance tourism attractiveness of Rostov-on-Don”, says Irina Romanova.
