A sightseeing bus started operation on route 82 connecting the Main Bus Station and Aleksandrovka settlement, it goes along Krasnoarmeyskaya Street, Sholokhov and Sorokoletiya Pobedy Avenues, Frunze settlement. On its route, passengers listen to the history of the city’s streets and places, including Gvardeyskaya Square, the station of the Rostov Children’s Railway, Russia is my History Museum, Ostrovsky Park, Aviators Park, Selivanov, Vorovsky, Gikalo, Veresayev Streets, Budennovsky and Voroshilovsky Avenues, Semashko Lane.
Gennady Belenky, a local history expert, helped to find the most interesting facts about these and other places. All his life he has gleaned facts about the history of his native country and wrote 12 books on Rostov.
