New Regulations for Entry to Russia from Abroad Came into Effect

In accordance with the amendments, citizens of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union who enter the Russian Federation from the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus and the Kyrgyz Republic through air checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation shall provide evidence for a negative PCR test result for COVID-19 using the mobile application Travel without COVID-19. Also, from April 15, 2021, all citizens of the Russian Federation arriving in the Russian Federation by any type of transport shall: 1. fill out a form  for a person arriving in the territory of the Russian Federation before arriving in the Russian Federation to ensure sanitary and quarantine control at checkpoints across the State Border of Russia (the form is filled out at the State Services website); 2. within three calendar days following the date of arrival in the Russian Federation, undergo a laboratory test for COVID-19 using the PCR method and post the result of the laboratory test for COVID-19 by the PCR method to the State Services website.
