Cinemas were opened in the Rostov region on July 13, but with a restriction: for the time being, cinemas can be filled by no more than a quarter. However, during the pandemic, new films were not made, so distributors are not ready yet to present premieres. On July 13, two cinemas were opened in Rostov - Bolshoi and Gorizont Cinema & Emotion, from July 14-15, the Charlie cinema chain will join them. Among the screened films are Trolls World Tour, Bond Slave, Big Fish & Begonia and others. So, movies of the past and this year returned to the screens, as well as those available for online viewing during the self-isolation regime. The operating mode of cinemas has also changed: the break between screenings has increased to 30 minutes, 20 to 40 people can be present in the hall, depending on the size of the cinema. There are no catering points at cinemas, but popcorn is sold in the cinema market in sealed packages. The opening hours of the cinemas have not changed: performances run from 12 noon until late at night. After the reopening, ticket prices at all the cinemas remained the same - from 200 to 250 rubles. However, Bolshoi has temporarily suspended the promo Movie for 150 Rubles. Nevertheless, according to booking sites, there is no excitement among viewers - almost all seats in the halls are vacant. As to Cinema Star, Kinomax IMAX, Phoenix, the date of their opening is still unknown. As a matter of fact, beside the Rostov region, cinemas were previously opened in certain districts of the Leningrad region, on Sakhalin, in Chukotka, Belgorod, Kurgan and Irkutsk regions, Krasnoyarsk Territory and Crimea. But, as owners of cinemas say, movies are shown in empty halls.
