For the first time, Rostov-on-Don was presented at one of the most prominent exhibitions in tourism and organization of recreation. The event was held from November 4 through November 6 at one of the largest congress and exhibition facilities in Europe - ExCeL London. The exposition attracts over 50,000 tourism professionals and is an international venue for presenting new tourist ideas and products, interaction and liaison of international tourism industry players. Leading tour operators, hotels and health resorts, transport agencies and airline companies, event agencies, IT product developers and agents of other branches of tourism industry take part in the exhibition. Rostov-on-Don made a mutual partnership agreement in tourism with the Tourism Development Committee of Kazan, which will kick off growth of a tourist flow between Rostov and Kazan. Every year the southern capital becomes more and more popular with travelers, which is manifested in the growing flow of tourists to the city. According to statistics, the number of tourists who visited Rostov-on-Don in 2018 grew by 8% YoY.
