Memorial Sign to Celebrate Home Front Workers during the War of 1941 to 1945

The heroic feat and courage of those who brought the victory in the Great Patriotic War nearer on the home front were distinguished on September 7, 2015. The new monument was set up in Zheleznodorozhny District, Rostov-on-Don, and there is a good reason for that. Over 640 home front workers live there, many of them attended the ceremony. The memorial sign to pay homage to them was installed in the city’s garden square not far from the Holy Trinity Church. The sculptor Sergey Isakov portrayed a mother with her teenage son standing at the machine sit.
