Pliev street

Pliev Issa Aleksandrovich, (1903–1979) a soviet military commander, the army general, the Hero of the Soviet Union for two times.
Since July 1941 he was taking part in fights of the Second World War. The armies under command of Pliev I.A. defended Moscow and Stalingrad, distinguished themselves in Melitopolskaya, Bereznegovato-Snigirevskaya, Odessa, Belarus, Budapest and Prague operations. The Lieutenant-general Pliev was awarded a rank of the hero of the Soviet Union for the skillful command of the mounted-mechanized group during the destruction of the Southern-Bug grouping of the enemy in April 1944 in Ukraine.
The colonel-general Pliev was bestowed on the second Gold Star for the successful command of the mounted-mechanized group in the Manchurian operation of the Soviet army in August 1945.


Плиев Исса Александрович (1903–1979) – советский военачальник, генерал армии, дважды Герой Советского Союза. С июля 1941 года участвовал в боях Великой Отечественной войны. Войска под руководством Плиева И.А. защищали Москву и Сталинград, отличились в Мелитопольской, Березнеговато-Снигирёвской, Одесской, Белорусской, Будапештской и Пражской операциях. За умелое руководство действиями конно-механизированной группы при уничтожении в апреле 1944 года южно-бугской группировки противника на Украине генерал-лейтенанту Плиеву И.А. присвоено звание Героя Советского Союза. Второй медалью «Золотая Звезда» генерал-полковник Плиев И.А, награжден за успешное командование конно-механизированной группой в Маньчжурской операции советских войск в августе 1945 года.
