Malugina street
Malugina Tatiana Andreevna (1895-1941) – a commander of a sanitary platoon.
During the first months of the war Malugina T.A. volunteered to the militia and took active participation in defense of the city. The took command of the sanitary platoon of Rostov militia regiment.
On the ice, which covered the Don in November 1941 she was wounded for the first time. But it did not stop the brave woman. Through the pain and almost loosing conscious she dragged a wounded militiaman to the shore.
On the 28th of November 1941 when she had been already carried to the hospital she was wounded again with a mine frag, this time the wound was deadly. On the next day Rostov was liberated from German occupation.

Малюгина Татьяна Андреевна (1895–1941) – командир санитарного взвода.
В первые месяцы войны Малюгина Т.А. добровольно вступила в народное ополчение и приняла самое активное участие в защите родного города. Она возглавила санитарный взвод Ростовского полка народного ополчения.
На льду, сковавшем Дон, в конце ноября 1941 года она получила первое ранение. Но это не остановило отважную женщину. Превозмогая боль, почти теряя сознание, она дотащила раненого ополченца до берега.
28 ноября 1941 года, когда ее уже отправили на носилках в медсанчасть, осколок вражеской мины вновь ранил Малюгину Т.А. – на этот раз смертельно. А на следующий день Ростов-на-Дону был освобожден от немецкой оккупации.
