On November 2, the Head of the Administration Office of Rostov tested a new trolleybus, which will operate Route 17, which connects the city’s center with Voenved District.

Many Rostovites have long anticipated this event. Trolleybus Route 17 existed in the city from 1975. However, over 20 years ago, due to technical problems, it was closed. Now, after numerous petitions from local residents, they decided to relaunch electric transport along this route.

The new route is just a part of huge works to upgrade the city’s transport system.
