They intend to plant 50 trees on the autumn Arbor Day – it is planned to take place on October 16. Also, blue spruces will liven up Leventsovsky Residential Area. And trees will be planted in Solzhenitsyn Avenue and Tkachev Avenue to make up for the trees that were cut down.

“It is planned to plant a total of nine thousand trees in the city this autumn, half of them on the Arbor Day, plus 12,000 bushes. These are maples, lime-trees, oaks, fir-trees, willows, Judas trees, plum trees, junipers, roses, staff trees, forsythias, mock oranges, spireas. Additionally, nearly 100,000 tulips will be planted in the municipal unit”, said the Head of the Administration Office of the City Aleksey Logvinenko.

Greening works start on October 16 and continue up to December 15.
