Over 8,000 People Took Part in Volunteer Clean-up in Rostov

On April 24, the Russian National Saturday Volunteer Clean-up took part in Rostov-on-Don. Garbage was collected on the area of 982.000 sq. m, over 1.300 tons of waste were collected and taken away: 393.6 tons of waste from fly-dumping and fly-tipping, 68 dangerous trees were cut. 289 facades of buildings and 233 lighting poles were cleared of advertisements. Over 400,000 trees were lime-washed. More than 8,000 people, 396 companies and enterprises, 156 units of equipment took part in the event
