With E. Kozhukhova, Deputy Head of Administration Office of the city for Social Issues, in the chair, a working session was held on improvement of Druzhba Park. The park was opened in 1983, it occupies an area of 8.3 ha. Over 1,700 trees, annual and perennial plants grow on its territory. The developed design project ensures a connection of the park with neighboring sections of continual linear Temernik Park with greenery and natural landscape preserved. As a result of the session, suggestions of the public will be taken into account and added to the general concept of development of the public space of Druzhba Park.
