On August 20, during a press briefing on improvement of urban areas, M. Nesnov, Director of the Department of Housing and Utilities and Energy of Rostov-on-Don, visited Novoselov Boulevard in the Voroshilovsky District. This is the first complete pedestrian zone. This year 8 areas like this one will be completed, 246.6 million rubles have been allocated for them. The total area of ​​the boulevard is 5,316.2 sq. m. The work was completed in full. The improvement of pedestrian zones in Kirovsky and Proletarsky districts are at the final stage of work, at to pedestrian zones in the Zheleznodorozhny and Oktyabrsky  districts, the works are in progress. The contractor organization for the performance of work in Leninsky and Pervomaysky districts is to be determined.
