Around 100 beaches and over 131 water recreation sites will be opened on June 1 in the Rostov region.

The swimming season starts, and about 1,000 employees of the regional Emergency Management Department will keep a wary eye on safety of recreation.

Rostov residents can enjoy recreation areas in Kapustin Street (Druzhba Park), Zeleny Island and        near Levoberezhny Park.

They will be open from 10am to 8pm daily. The beach season ends on October 1.
