The festival introduces to ethnic diversity of the region and is aimed at developing arts and crafts of the peoples of the region. Over 200 dolls will be exhibited. They are traditional folk rag dolls and authors’ dolls made in different techniques, dolls dressed in national costumes of 15 republics of the USSR, wooden toys based on popular prints and many others. Masters from different parts of the Rostov region take part in the festival, they represent Bataysk, Novocherkassk, Azov, Krasny Sulin, Belaya Kalitva, Peschanokopsky District, Volgodonsk, Novoshakhtinsk, Gukovo, Salsk, Rostov-on-Don. Also, masters from a neighboring region – Krasnodar region – presented their works.
