Specifically for the Fathers’ Day, a new holiday established by the decree of V. Putin to be celebrated on the third Sunday of October, the Russian lodging website detected destinations that fathers with kids choose for autumn vacations.

According to the service, top ten most popular destinations include Alushta, Sochi, St Petersburg, Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, Kazan, Surgut, Kislovodsk and Lahdenpohja in Russia and Gagra, Abkhazia.

The list is based on applications paid for from September 1 through November 30, 2021. According to the service’s statistics, fathers book lodging for one to seven nights and spend from 1.400 to 5.300 rubles a day.
