The authors of the idea thought it logical - with an oar, so she is a rower and a symbol of rowing. The prototype of the gypsum young lady, obviously, was the famous Girl with an Oar by the sculptor Shadr, which for 20 years adorned the main fountain of Moscow's Gorky Park. The monument was installed in the center of a flower bed near the hangars. The works were funded by sponsors (about 400,000 rubles). However, social media users did not like the image of the naked girl. There have been hot discussions on  propriety of nudity near the place where children and young adults go in for sports.
