As part of preparation for celebration of the 76^th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a monument to the Hero of Ukraine A. P. Berest was cleaned up. The Soviet officer, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, who got the Order of the Gold Star, the Order of the Red Banner, the Order of the Patriotic War 1^st Class, the Order of the Red Star, is buried in Aleksandrovskoye Cemetery.

Workers cleared up and painted an enclosure, a table and a bench, set broken stones to a path to the grave and the surrounding area. The monument and the bust were washed. The path to the grave and the entire area of the cemetery were cleared of shrubs. Rubbish was taken away.
