The exhibition, Treasures of the Don Steppes, opened in the Rostov Regional Museum of Local Lore. In 2018–2019, due to the major overhaul of the building, the exposition was dismantled, and the museum items were exhibited for some time in the Chuvash National Museum, Cheboksary, and the Vladimir-Suzdal Museum-Reserve, says the website of the Don government. The exhibition numbers a total of 2,785 museum items. Some of them have no analogues in the world. Visitors will also see a treasure trove of gold coins from the Nizhne-Gnilovskoy settlement and items returned after restoration in the State Hermitage. A large number of exhibits are associated with the history and culture of the Bosporus Kingdom - in the year of its 2,500th anniversary, residents and visitors of the Rostov region will enjoy the exhibition, Treasures of the Don Steppes.
