In September 2020, at Lokomotiv Stadium in the capital of the region, the final rounds of the Tenth Summer Cycling Spartakiad of Russian Students will take place. The cycle track has been reconstructed and meets all modern requirements. Also, in Rostov-on-Don, infrastructure for fans of extreme cycling continues to develop - on the territory of the Don Rowing Canal, a project is being implemented to build a complex of specialized tracks for mountain biking and BMX training on an area of ​​54,600 square meters. It is assumed that up to 150 athletes will be able to train there at the same time.
