Resuming their work after restrictions caused by the spread of the new coronavirus infection, hoteliers need to solve a number of issues, one of which is obtaining hotel rating certificates. Under the restrictive regime, it was impossible to go through this procedure, and it is not acceptable to resume work without valid documents. In this regard, the Government of the Russian Federation took measures to make it easier for the hotel business to get out of this situation. Thus, the hotel rating certificates expiring in 2020 are extended until March 1, 2021. It was also provided that hotels with 15 rooms or less can provide hotel services without a hotel rating certificate until January 1, 2022.
