A formal event to celebrate Mother’s Day took place at Rostov-Dosug Cultural Center. Mothers and grandmothers – veterans, women bringing up talented and gifted children, mothers having many children, adoptive and foster families, heads of institutions and organizations of the district, representatives of bodies of territorial public self-government – were guests at the event. Commemorative prize were given at the event. The best performance groups of the city took the stage for the guests. After the event, a tea party was arranged for the guests. At School 106, over 20 moms took part in Mom+Me Creative Festival. Local residents, together with their children, sang songs, danced and recited poems. All the festival participants got diplomas, medals and valuable prizes. The event resonated well with the audience and the participants, so it was decided to make the local festival a tradition.
