A. Logvinenko, Acting Head of the city’s Administration Office, opened the festivities. A prayer service for all Rostovites was held. Mercury, Metropolitan of Rostov and Novocherkassk, noted that there was no evidence of whether such prayer service had ever been performed in Rostov, but a good tradition was established that day. We invite Rostovites to celebrate the big day! In the afternoon, we are waiting for everyone on the Embankment of the Don River, where all day long numerous venues will offer entertainments to suit any taste: interactive zones, youth initiatives, extreme sports. And throughout the day there will be a concert program on the main stage of the Embankment, with the performance of BURITO musical band in its end. From 10am a youth sport festival and a gastronomic festival will be held in Levoberezhny Park. We invite enthusiasts of a healthy lifestyle, nature and cooking. On the main stage, Rostov athletes and creative teams will show their skills, and grounds for power extreme sports and beach volleyball will work. Celebrations will be held in all parks of the city. And even the main street of the regional capital, Bolshaya Sadovaya Street, will turn into a large concert venue. At 7pm, a gala concert will be given on Theater Square. And the festivities will end at 10pm with festive fireworks.
