The festivities will open in Pokrovsky Garden Square at 9.45am with an address of Mercury, Metropolitan of Rostov and Novocherkassk, to city residents. All day long, you will have a chance to listen to choirs of the Rostov region in the garden square. A theatrical festival will be organized on the embankment of the Don River, with a children's ethnographic festival and a festival of young families. Events will be held from 10am through 10pm. In Levoberezhny Park a youth sports festival and a gastronomic festival will take place from 11am through 9pm. The gala concert featuring Basta and musical duet #2Mashi will begin on Theater Square at 7pm. Also, there will be a disco with DJ Groove. At 10pm, on the city’s main square, residents and guests of Rostov will have a chance to enjoy large-scale fireworks launched to celebrate the 270th anniversary of Rostov-on-Don.
