Exposition everybody in Russia plays football!

Over 200 exhibits introduce to the origins of the first balls, the onset of team competitions the nations of antiquity had, major milestones of football development. Exhibition visitors will have a chance to learn about the game’s rules and strategies, sports roles of players on the pitch and functions of referees, they will see photos, uniforms, awards of players from Azov football clubs of the 1920s to 2000s.

A separate part of the exposition focuses on Eduard Lakomov, a native of Azov, President of the multiregion association, The Union of Football Federations of the Southern Federal District, who dedicated his life to this sports game and made a glorious career from a footballer to a referee of the All-Soviet Union level.

The exhibition exposes the official mascot of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia – Zabivaka the Wolf, authentic printed souvenir products, which will add to the funds of the Azov Museum Preserve, after the exhibition is over. 

The exposition is held from August 21 to December 9. 

Tickets cost 30 to 200 rubles.

Its venue is the Azov History, Archeology and Paleontology Museum Preserve.
