House on Bulvarnaya Square. On the Balcony, a Virtual Tour

A new video tour introduces to the history of the mansion of Mark Iskidarov from Nakhichevan, which now houses the Museum of Russo-Armenian Friendship, a department of the Rostov Regional Museum of Local History and Geography. The mansion features a harmonious combination of elements of various architectural styles, which, on the whole, was in line with the general direction of eclecticism widely spread in the early 20th century. The building’s façade boasts a balcony that was as wide as the pavement. It offered a splendid view of Bulvarnaya Square. The tour is a conversation between two local ladies, as they have traditional tea on the house’s balcony.
