Botanical Garden of the Southern Federal University:

Over 75 years of its existence, this amazing pocket of nature has turned into one of Russia’s largest educational, resource, informational and cultural centers. Currently, it occupies an area of over 160.5 ha with diverse reliefs, soils and vegetation. Over 6.500 types of trees, bushes and herbaceous plants grow there. Its four    conservatories with a total area of 1,064 sq. m have a collection of tropical and subtropical plants from different parts of Africa, Southeast Asia, Central and Southern America, Australia and New Zealand, which is the largest in the south of Russia. The Botanic Garden has a unique mineral well on its territory with generous supply of therapeutic-table mineral water.
