Dranko Street

Pyotr Aleksandrovich Dranko (1913–1993), a pilot, Guards Major, the Hero of the Soviet Union.
Since September 1943, Major P. A. Dranko was the commander of the 115th Guards Air Fighter Regiment (3rd Belorussian Front). The pilots of the regiment distinguished themselves during the Vitebsk–Orsha Offensive and the liberation of the Belorussian city of Orša on 27 June 1944.
During the Great Patriotic War, he made 277 operational flights, took part in 59 air fights and shot down 15 Nazi aircraft personally and 2 Nazi aircraft as part of the group.
Since 1956, after he retired, he lived in Rostov-on-Don.


Дранко Петр Александрович (1913–1993) – летчик, гвардии майор, герой Советского Союза. С сентября 1943 года майор Дранко П.А. командовал 115-м гвардейским истребительным авиационным полком (3-й Белорусский фронт). Лётчики полка отличились в ходе Витебско-Оршанской наступательной операции войск и в освобождении 27 июня 1944 года белорусского города Орша. За годы войны совершил 277 боевых вылетов, участвовал в 59 воздушных боя, в которых лично сбил 15 и в составе группы 2 самолёта противника. С 1956, после отправки в запас, жил в Ростове-на-Дону.
