Flying Bridge to Connect Rostov Arena and Levoberezhny Park

The pedestrian flying bridge that will connect Rostov Arena and Levoberezhny Park will appear by 2020, said Vitaly Kushnarev, Head of the Administration Office of Rostov.

The city administrator made a case for building the bridge, as many people willing to visit the new park leave their cars in the parking lot near the stadium and cross the road to get into the park.

“We plan to build the bridge connecting Levoberezhny Park and the parking lot that is opposite the stadium. I believe that in late 2019 or in the first half of 2020, we will deliver the project,” said Vitaly Kushnarev.

It is noteworthy that Vasily Golubev, Governor of the Rostov region, suggested building a flying bridge like in Zaryadye Park in Moscow. He suggested engaging young architects for designing the project, as, in his opinion, the bridge was to be the gem of the left-bank area.
