The robot has a special display that shows important news and announcements of the zoo and some information on animals. The robot’s creators taught it to safely move around a large number of people, which is very important for the zoo, which always has many visitors. It is on wheels, so it will have no difficulty with moving around. Besides, the robot has upper limbs it can use for gestures. Now its creators say that they are going to implement additional voice recognition functions for artificial intelligence to make friends with users.
Remarkably, it was reported earlier that the assistant robot had been invented by a student of the Don State Technical University from Rostov back in February. Initially, its main aim was to replace people for constantly repeated procedures.
