HISTORICAL PARK, RUSSIA IS MY HISTORY, INVITES ROSTOVITES TO VISIT FESTIVE EVENTS:
People celebrate Defender of the Fatherland Day in Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan and Kirgizia. The holiday is related to establishment of the Workers’ and Peasant’s Red Army and Navy in 1918. It only changed its name: from 1922, the day was traditionally observed as Red Army Day, it was celebrated as Soviet Army Day from 1946 and as Soviet Army and Navy Day from 1949 through 1992.
On February 23, the widescreen shows of films The Elusive Avengers and The Crown of the Russian Empire, or Once Again the Elusive Avengers will be offered in the conference hall of the historical park. In the evening, visitors will have a chance to watch performance of the Cossack creative group – Donskaya Pesnya.
On February 24, viewers can watch White Sun of the Desert, In the Zone of Special Attention and Hit Back.
