Monument to Heroes of the First World War

The monument is located in First Pioneer Camp Fire Garden Square. It was officially opened on August 1, 2014 on the day when the First World War started. The monument is a bronze monument  3.5 meter high, portraying a rugged middle-aged soldier wearing an army uniform with a straight back and a candid look, with a bayonet behind his shoulder. The monument has a small basement. The basement  features four cross awards and the monument’s title inscribed in golden letters. Its authors are the artist A. Isakov and architect Y. Dvornikov.
