Monument to Heroes of the Soviet Union and Full Cavaliers of the Order of Glory

The monument was inaugurated on June 21, 2019, it is a vertical 3x2 meter granite slab. Against the black background of the stele, there are names of residents of the city inscribed in the history of Russia. 285 natives of the region were recognized as Heroes of the Soviet Union, and 126 of them are Rostovites. 16 people who hailed from this region are Full Cavaliers of the Order of Glory. Rostovites initiated inauguration of the monument and fund-raised money for its installation.
