The One Sky Ferris wheel was put into operation in August 2016 in Revolution Park, one of the largest and most beautiful parks in Rostov-on-Don.
The attraction received a romantic name, One Sky. Rostov’s Ferris wheel is 65 meters tall. Today it is the third tallest in Russia. The tallest is an observation wheel in Sochi (83.5 meters tall). The second place of honor belongs to the similar amusement in Moscow (73 meters tall).
It takes approximately 15 minutes for the observation wheel to make a complete cycle.
180 people can have a ride with the One Sky at the same time. The wheel is equipped with thirty closed passenger cabins. The ride is designed to offer panoramic views. The cabins have walls made of strong transparent glass from floor to ceiling. Those who want to have a ride will enjoy its soft seats and comfortable tables. Each cabin is air-conditioned. You don’t have to suffer from heat in summer, and you will get warm during the ride on cool days. The observation wheel in Rostov is accessible for everybody. There are special cabins for physically challenged people.
You can get striking views from the upper heights of the wheel. Rostov-on-Don is a very beautiful city, and now any person can have a bird’s-eye view of it.
